Work you'll do
As the Enterprise Data Steward you will be the subject matter expert in best practices for data governance and quality across a community of data stewards and data owners. You will own responsibility for specific master data domains, processes, and procedures while creating and editing data requirements, data models, data dictionaries, process maps and data lineage/mapping while maintaining documentation within an enterprise data governance tool.
- Utilize a standardized approach to identify and document issues across assigned data domains.
- Facilitate discussions with business leaders to obtain required input on data management requirements and address specific needs.
- Communicate impacts of designated data definitions, rules and expectations across global systems.
- Develop valuation and quality measures and share measures across businesses, geographies and enabling areas.
- Develop an understanding of Deloitte’s usage, capture and maintain data to advise on approaches for effective data use.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts, monitor ongoing results, define process areas for review, and conduct benchmarking activities to ensure best in class results for data management best practices.
- Be responsible for adherence to standards and controls, data quality, problem management, and change management requests.
- Ensure data issues and requests are triaged appropriately, and changes are documented and processed in a timely fashion.
- Team with other Deloitte data stewards to establish synergies, standardization and best practices.
- Review, measure, and report on master data quality on a regular cadence.
- Partner with Information Technology to integrate governance practices as part of a project lifecycle including data migration activities.
- Lead all aspects of change management and training related to the rollout and ongoing activities of the Data Governance program for assigned data domains.

Qualifications
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, Technical, Data Science, Statistics
- 5-8 years of experience in data management with demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret and explain systems and approaches for data to enable business decisions
- Mastery skill in relational database theories and schemes
- Demonstrated Ability to influence and engage, with strong communication skills
- Experience with Informatica toolset
