Work you'll do

Analyze emerging technologies and influence direction of project solutions. Utilize in-depth knowledge and enforce standards, procedures, and methodologies for the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Coordinate application development activities and direct development teams in the areas of scheduling, technical direction, future planning and standard development practices. Manage technical direction and lead end-to-end delivery of projects to address business needs. Participate in quality improvement activities for the development organization. Ensure project/program objectives are met in a timely manner and adhere to the application standards. Perform a combination of professional and management duties over work staff. Manage end-to-end delivery of projects with hands on involvement in the development and configuration of projects. Collaborate with product team members to fully understand business requirements and create clear functional specifications outlining the client requirements. Monitor progress and status of tasks and deliverables on projects and escalate issues and risks timely. Lead the delivery, implementation, and improvement of all applicable channel processes, methodologies, and service level agreements (SLAs). Provide on-going support to business and content teams on strategic technology platform, quality assurance and issue resolution.

Qualifications

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Information Science, Electronics Engineering, Information Studies, Computer Science or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a Lead Application Developer or Senior Analyst - related occupation. 

Position requires five (5) years of experience in the following special skills: 

  1. Design and build technical solutions in SAP. 
  2. Utilize SAP ABAP to build solutions based on project requirements, including reports, enhancements to standard objects, interface programs, conversion programs, Adobe and Smart form layouts to manage output of various business documents, and workflow for automating business processes. 
  3. Utilize SAP FIORI, SAP Ui5, and OData development to build front-end solutions to improve user experience. 
  4. Implement process optimization by developing automated technology solutions to support the reporting needs of the business, including integrating disparate data sets from various firm systems using MS SQL server and SSIS based on technical designs. 
  5. Operate and maintain management reporting using visualization tools such as Tableau with databases including SQL data source and SAP HANA. 
  6. Troubleshoot database connectivity and user access issues and perform system performance tuning. 
  7. Utilize Sales and Distribution (SAP SD) and SAP Finance to enhance and propose new solutions for business requirements. 
  8. Utilize SAP S/4 HANA and SAP ECC Architecture to design and deliver solutions in accordance with business needs. 

*Work from home/Telecommuting allowed within commutable distance. 

*Up to 10% domestic and international travel required.
