Work you'll do
The Technical Delivery Manager will lead and oversee delivery of multiple business solutions and the implementation of applications. Provide consultation to IT and business leadership around specific suite of products. Work with business leadership and managers to budget and prioritize planned and unplanned development and maintenance engagements. Provide oversight, responsibility, and accountability for multiple projects and resources that address business requirements with a focus on high quality, innovation, cost effectiveness, and strategy alignment. Responsible for assessing emerging technologies and determining appropriate technical solutions. More specific responsibilities include:
- Manages the delivery of application solutions and support of the portfolio of products. Ensures standards, procedures, and methodologies in the development life cycle are followed, while identifying and proposing opportunities for improvement. Ensures proper functioning and alignment with product/application strategy and roadmap.
- Defines the standards, procedures, and methodologies in the development life cycle, taking full accountability for the proper and consistent execution on all projects. Collaborates with business representatives, ITS business liaisons, and vendors, if necessary, to ensure specific understanding of the business requirements and the future direction of the business/function.
- Prepares work schedules and tasks with development leaders and product/project teams to optimize resources. Develops and maintains a comprehensive budget and resource management plans.
- Drives the analysis, design, and architectural definition of innovative solutions to solve business and user experience requirements.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Work
- involves the application of moderately complex procedures and tasks that are quite varied. Independent judgment is often required to select and apply the most appropriate of available resources. Supervision is provided on an "as needed" basis.
- Decisions are made on both routine and non-routine matters with some latitude, but are still subject to approval. Job is occasionally expected to recommend new solutions to problems and improve existing methods or generate new ideas.

Qualifications
Do you possess the following?:
Education: Bachelors degree
- Intermediate MS Office
- Intermediate web development, using the following tools: C#, ASP.NET, WCF, XML/XSLT, JavaScript, JQuery; Intermediate database development, using the following tools: MS SQL Server, T-SQL, ADO/ADO.NET, SSRS, SSIS
- Intermediate implementation management of enterprise level n-tier solutions (OOD/OOA, SOA, and Web Services)
- Intermediate software development lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall, RUP, Agile)
- Intermediate technical knowledge of all phases of applications programming
Required Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements:
- 5+ years of applications development and operations experience
- Strong channel specific business and domain (functional/technical) knowledge
- Project software development life cycle experience
- Project delivery leadership and/or implementation consulting for large enterprise systems.
