Work you'll do

We are seeking a full-time Chief of Staff to partner with the Digital Signature Issue leadership to manage the overall strategy, planning, execution and delivery of key thought leadership programs. This individual will be a primary contributor in developing initiatives that differentiate and advance the Digital Signature Issue team’s strategy. This role offers a unique opportunity to interface directly with senior leaders throughout the global network across Deloitte Firms, Industries, and Businesses.
 
As the Digital Chief of Staff for the global Maestro program, you will help develop and execute activation strategies across a complex group of global stakeholders in support of executive insights and experiences. You’ll accelerate the evolution of global eminence/thought leadership, along with the rollout of new concepts and programs in support of elevating relationship-building with the C-Suite and Board.
 
Your work will pave the way for a global organization to go to market with a unified voice, including Signature Issue insights that address essential topics for global executives and board members as they deal with disruption on many fronts.

  • Key responsibilities include: Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of the digital leadership team
  • Build, expand and manage a global network of internal stakeholders across businesses and global member firms to educate, inform and expand program reach
  • Drive decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
  • Collaborate with eminence teams (e.g., research, editorial, marketing, PR) and business teams (e.g., offering portfolios) to develop differentiated, data-driven thought leadership
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the Digital Signature Issue leadership in the areas of strategy planning, proposals, leadership and deployment of leading thought leadership
  • Define new operational strategies, working with leadership and executives on special projects
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, handling inquiries and developing action plans to address them, and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communications
  • Serve as liaison between research leadership, and senior leaders of other teams regarding Signature Issue strategy, proposals, planning and project updates,
  • Oversee daily operations, performing an array of functional tasks from managing annual budget, vendors, pipelines, internal and external presentations, and leadership updates
  • Build and develop relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations and in support of an inclusive team environment that generates equitable outcomes for all contributors

Maestro looks to elevate our executive programs to drive more impactful Board and C-Level relationships, while enhancing the Deloitte brand position.  As part of this aspiration we deliver a number of key programs to anticipate, understand, and serve CEO, Board and CXO agendas.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree. 
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience. Client service experience and/or industry experience required.
  • Previous project management experience and experience managing a team.
  • Strong business acumen, deep understanding of, and experience in the operations of the firm.
  • Track record managing complex projects.
  • Demonstrated, advanced capability with project management tools and methods.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate quantitative and qualitative analyses into clear messages and informed responses to leadership.
  • Advanced capability with Microsoft Office suite (PPT and Excel).
