Work you'll do
Your responsibilities will include partnering with business-lead development teams and successfully leading the design and delivery of cloud solutions. You will be challenged to find approaches that enable the rapid adoption of new cloud services, drive innovation and transform IT.
Responsibilities:
- Collect business security requirements and centrally coordinates the development of new or enhanced cloud capabilities based on customer need, firm standards, and compliance requirements.
- Propose improvements to the enterprise cloud management platform hub-spoke architecture, strategic approaches, and related security governance based on continual review and evaluation of enterprise cloud consumption trends across internal and external business lines
- Develop and socialize business cloud consumption models and subsequent direction to cloud security solution architects to evolve the cloud platform to securely meet firm business objectives
- Lead cloud security strategy development leveraging a deep understanding of IaaS, CaaS and PaaS services offered on cloud platforms and understand how to combine them to build complex and innovative solutions.
- Provide architectural guidance in the development of reference architectures that support refactoring of legacy on premises applications to use modern micro-service design using cloud managed container service offerings and serverless methodologies
- Serve as a subject matter expert supporting cloud security initiatives by providing objective, practical and relevant ideas, insights and advice while also building organizational partnerships and networks to ensure comprehensive cloud capabilities solutions to support diverse business needs.
- Work with security peers to automate and build tailored solutions with repeatable patterns that can be leveraged across business and IT solutions.
- Ensure that cloud solutions follow firm-established security and compliance controls.
- Be a thought leader by staying abreast of current and emerging cloud technologies and industry trends.
- Support Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Epic, Feature, and User story creation to incrementally address customer requests and drive new operational capabilities

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems Security, or equivalent professional experience
- 4+ years of experience building resilient, highly available and scalable cloud native platforms and solutions.
- 6+ years of experience in the IT field.
- Considerable tangible experience with cloud infrastructure, data, and application services.
- Robust experience designing and building multi-tenant IaaS and PaaS cloud solutions on either Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.
- Solid experience with cloud solution design patterns (microservices, messaging, distributed caching, containers etc.)
- Past experience setting project vision/scope, building the team to deliver, and overseeing delivery.
- Proven track record of successfully adopting new technology at an enterprise-wide level.
- Experience leading delivery of managed IT services to enterprise customers
- Solid experience leading technical project teams with the ability to lead people, provide direction, and set clear objectives.
- Must understand Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
- Experience with infrastructure as code development along with configuration management and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Past experience in programmatically configuring Linux or Windows servers and services for cloud-based deployments.
- Excellent influencing and reasoning skills; good at conflict resolution and consensus building.
