Work you'll do

In this unique and interesting role, you will provide specialized support and guidance for CoRe’s Data Protection Assessment Services (DPAS) by:
  • Assessing the data protection aspects of global services and technologies based on a defined process.
  • Mediating between the technology teams and regional member firm stakeholders to provide clarity.
  • Working with a supporting team with experience in the fields of technology, legal, privacy and risk.
  • Creating assessments used by regional stakeholders to determine their risk/adoption strategy.
  • Managing a portfolio of engagements with competing demands and project deadlines.

Who you'll work with:

Global CoRe provides seven fundamental services to Deloitte around the world: knowledge services, creative services, contact center, data management assessment services, data protection, procurement, and real estate. We develop new and innovative ways to improve how these services are delivered across the organization, leveraging our global scope and strength to serve our organization within and across borders.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • At least three years of data protection and or legal data privacy/protection experience
  • Management experience in a diverse and multiskilled global/large team
  • Ability to build credibility and trust across all stakeholder groups
  • Ability to lead and manage change
  • Excellent English written/verbal communication skills
  • An ability to question, analyze and interpret information of a technical or business nature
  • Successful prioritization and navigation of sometimes challenging deadlines
  • Good understanding of data regulations

Education and experience:
  • Legal Degree, Privacy/Compliance experience, Technology Degree, and/ or a related field (or equivalent).
  • Compliance, Risk, Privacy, Client Confidentiality, Audit, Investigative, Legal and/or Technology experience.
  • International Association of Privacy Professionals Certification (CIPP-E, CIPP-A, CIPP-US, CIPT, CIPM) or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Legal experience is useful although knowledge of GDPR and similar constructs is adequate.
  • Security Certification such as CISSP, CCSP or equivalent is advantageous.
