Work you'll do

The Account Manager is responsible for bringing together portfolio teams to align on business strategy and priorities and ensure execution of the portfolio technology strategy. The Account Manager works closely with the Technology Portfolio Leaders (TPL) and business & member firm stakeholders in managing, shaping, and aggregating demand. They are responsible for driving the annual planning process and facilitating customer-facing KPI reporting. They also work across cross-functional teams to help surface and manage risks & issues impacting portfolio customers, as well as drive operational excellence for the overall portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with TPL and portfolio team leaders to develop and execute portfolio technology strategy
  • Helps create a culture of accountability by ensuring the portfolio team understands the business drivers behind our strategic portfolio priorities and initiatives and produces dashboards, scorecards, and key metrics that help us evaluate success
  • Understands the strategic business direction and identifies opportunities for technology innovation
  • Coordinates and facilitates stakeholder and portfolio team engagement, including Quarterly Business Reviews, strategy workshops, team collaboration & cadences, annual planning, etc.
  • Supports TPL in the aggregation, tracking, shaping, management, and fulfillment of all customer technology demands
  • Drives annual planning process in collaboration with finance, stakeholders, and portfolio team leaders to ensure alignment with business priorities
  • Facilitates customer facing reporting inclusive of KPIs, financials, operational metrics, portfolio health, and value delivery and supports TPL in the preparation for board, executive committee, and senior leadership meetings
  • Surfaces risks, issues, and challenges impacting the portfolio and manages to resolution
  • Helps create and maintain positive portfolio team culture and community driven by our shared values
  • Identifies portfolio optimization opportunities to drive operational excellence and customer value
  • Builds relationships across the Deloitte Technology organization and understands technology capabilities, services, and initiatives and their impact on the portfolio customers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Related work experience in comparable business/technology positions
  • Strong program management skills and the ability to bring teams together to align on business strategy and priorities
  • Excellent financial planning and analysis skills
  • Excellent business process analysis, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Strong customer relationship skills and “customer service” ethic that puts the customer first
  • Strong consultative skills with different levels of stakeholders (client service orientation, conflict resolution, analysis/synthesis of information)
  • Strong Leadership, Influence and Negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
