Work you'll do

The Global Audit & Assurance Learning (GAAL) team has responsibility for design, development, deployment, and monitoring and measurement of learning and development solutions to the Audit & Assurance services. The Learning Impact Lead will be at the forefront of GAAL’s Learning Modernization strategy, using data to identify learning needs, generate insights that inform the strategy, and evaluate learning impact in support of the performance and growth of all Deloitte Audit & Assurance professionals. This role will tell a cohesive story about the impact GAAL to stakeholders across the organization by analyzing and synthesizing data from a variety of sources. The position is a permanent role.

 The position does not require relocation, and offers the oppotunity for overseas travel may be required. In addition, the global nature of the team and our stakeholders may require participation in calls outside of standards working hours.


  • Leads the strategy, collection, analysis, and reporting of data on the impact of learning activities on the business and the effectiveness of GAAL and member firms in achieving strategic goals
  • Employs qualitative and quantitative research methods to uncover insights about learning programs and answer key questions from business and learning leaders
  • Evaluates programs using established and emerging evaluation methodologies to understand learning’s return on investment (ROI)
  • Partners with Talent and other functions to develop and monitor systems to track and evaluate learning outcomes, KPIs, and identify training impacts on business outcomes
  • Defines and executes other strategic initiatives in collaboration with GAAL leadership, senior Audit & Assurance leaders, and cross-functional stakeholder
  • Provides centralized direction and oversight of the overall learning data & measurement strategy, including continual evaluation of the current state to inform strategy for the future
  • Consults across GAAL, helping the team to understand their data collection, reporting, and analysis needs, and developing processes and solutions to meet the
  • Socializes a mindset of designing for impact and deciding with data throughout the broader learning organization

The team

Global Audit & Assurance delivers a strong foundation of audit practices for Deloitte around the world. We leverage new ideas and technologies to raise quality standards, drive growth and change, and define the audit of the future.


  • 5+ years of applied experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting within learning and development or human resources, preferably within professional services
  • 3+ years of managing or supervising others, fostering a culture of performance, learning, and inclusion
  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred, preferably in the behavioral or social sciences
  • Experience leading change and coaching others to adopt new ways of working
  • Working within a virtual team environment and experience of working with different cultures
  • Mastery of research design and measurement capabilities (e.g., operationalizing constructs, multi-trait, multi-method design experience, survey design/development)
  • Mastery of program evaluation methodologies to evaluate the impact of learning and talent development solutions
  • Advanced Tableau & Power BI skills to handle, manipulate, analyze, summarize, and report data
  • Proficiency in statistical packages (e.g., SPSS, R, Python) preferred
