Work you'll do

Deloitte Private includes clients, business areas, and community of practitioners focused on Family Enterprises, Privately Owned, Private Equity, and Emerging Growth Companies. It comprises approximately 25% of the global revenue and is a critical engine for growth in the firm. This role will be responsible for strategic and operational support of Deloitte Private priorities including programmatic aspects, leadership support and alignment, and driving/supporting strategic initiatives related to Deloitte Private. It is an ideal role for a versatile top performing Manager or experienced Sr. Consultant who would like to gain experience working with a global organization, build a global network, and gain depth of knowledge around Deloitte Private client segment.

  • In this interesting and diverse role, you will lead and support high-visibility Deloitte Private / Family Enterprise strategic initiatives as identified throughout the year to deliver on Deloitte Private / Family Enterprise program objectives and overall growth. Some examples of initiatives could include: defining the sub-segment strategy for Family Enterprises, working with stakeholders to design business cases for global investments, developing and executing a strategy to drive community engagement, and driving global pursuit support and account growth through the Global Private Pursuit Center of Excellence
  • Working on some unique projects in our field, you will support program management and core team coordination activities, including working with initiative leads to establish workplans and monitor progress against weekly / annual / multi-year plans, and develop / execute change management plans to assist member firms and functions to roll out initiatives
  • You will work in close collaboration with internal stakeholders around the world to support the development of strategic perspectives on Deloitte Private / Family Enterprise in key geographies and sectors, opportunity identification and prioritization, member firm and regional alignment, and other activities that help realize global strategies
  • You will use your executive communications skills to develop content for presentations and reports for the DTTL CEO, Executive, Global Clients & Industries Executive/Council, Global Deloitte Private and Family Enterprise Executives, Deloitte Private Leadership, and other high-profile leadership events as required
  • You will deliver impact through deploying your qualitative and quantitative analysis, concepts, frameworks and story board skills to advise senior leadership on delivering a measurable impact in focus areas
  • You will liaise with other Global Clients & Industries team members and broader Deloitte Private / Family Enterprise community to share leading practices as well as support team collaboration site, with a strategic focus on developing tools and processes to continuously improve program and knowledge management capabilities

The team

Global Clients & Industry provides expertise and knowledge around industries, clients, and markets to win new engagements, retain clients, and increase market share. Using industry insight, a multidisciplinary approach, and cross-border collaboration, we support lead client service professionals and their teams around the world.


  • Minimum 6 years of experience in consulting or strategic initiatives, with a bachelor’s degree in related field required; advanced degree from a top school preferred
  • Strong project management and time management skills; ability to work independently under pressure, and on multiple assignments while maintaining top quality deliverables (often in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to prepare executive ready materials that “tell-the-story” succinctly and logically; ability to flex the communication and messaging to the audience and context
  • Outstanding research and analytical skills: ability to synthesize large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data and integrate into meaningful reports and recommendations, with strong attention to detail
  • Builds effective working relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple business areas, functions, and geographies, and proven ability to navigate a global, matrixed, and virtual environment for effective outcome
  • High degree of endurance with ability to multi-task and deliver on portions of multiple projects in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and also adapt quickly to constantly varying priorities and subject matter
