Work you'll do

The Strategic Initiatives Manager will be responsible for supporting the execution of Global industry and Sector priorities by working on and supporting implementation of the key initiatives, reporting to the Global Industry/Sector Operations Leader. This role provides a unique opportunity to grow strategic planning skills, enhance operations management capabilities, and understand how to plan and execute strategies, with an opportunity to interface with member firms, businesses, and industry/sector teams around the globe. This role is ideal for a versatile top performer who would like to gain operational experience, build a cross-business network, and develop significant understanding of the Global Clients & Industries organization.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic, analytical, and operational support GC&I leadership.
  • Support strategic initiatives across Industries and Sectors to include: DEI, learning, Knowledge Services, sector strategies, Maestro, industry marketing, Member Firm Standards, sector-led solutions and bold plays
  • Focus on sharing ideas, IP, and resources across industry groupings
  • Develop content for a high volume of presentations
  • Support in the development of monthly reporting dashboard and metrics, working in collaboration with Finance
  • Perform analyses on key metrics and estimate the return on investment across various programs
  • Manage relationships and coordination between key industry stakeholders
  • Support relationships and coordination between Global Industry/Sector and the Global Businesses and the Executive Member Firms

Who you'll work with:

Global Clients & Industry provides expertise and knowledge around industries, clients, and markets to win new engagements, retain clients, and increase market share. Using industry insight, a multidisciplinary approach, and cross-border collaboration, we support lead client service professionals and their teams around the world.

Qualifications:

  • Strong project management experience, with a focus on strategy, planning and implementing integrated programs
  • Comfortable with creating reasonable structure to meet the objectives of the task at hand in an ambiguous environment
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver on portions of multiple projects in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Ability to sift through and analyze data
  • Client-service or client experience preferred
  • Ability to work with all levels of an organization
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills, with ability to build connections and networks
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with strong attention to detail and best in class deliverables
