Job Description - Role Responsibilities
The Strategic Sourcing Team:
  • Leverages knowledge of real estate and office services procurement in leading supplier/contract negotiations and RFX efforts.
  • Partners with stakeholders to plan contracting and sourcing strategies.
  • Develops key supplier relationships in close collaboration with Strategic Planning teams to maximize the value of negotiation events.
  • Delivers savings, cost avoidance and value-adds to the Deloitte network through strategic negotiations with external suppliers as needed.
  • Works with Strategic Planning to contribute to the development/refinement of master category strategies (MCS).
Strategic Supplier Relationship Management (SSRM) responsibilities:
Supplier Facing
  • Understands established vision and path to support a long-term supplier relationship that is beneficial to Deloitte
  • Understands the sell to structure within the supplier organization and thorough understanding of the supplier landscape
  • Documents supplier performance management and expectations
  • Contributes to process to identify and inform on any supplier related issues; establish processes to mitigate as appropriate
   Deloitte Facing
  • Supports an effective, efficient supplier account management infrastructure and processes
  • Serves as a contact for Lead Client Service Partners (and stakeholders) on any supplier issues, as needed
  • Establish relationships with all key Deloitte stakeholders of the supplier to ensure alignment with their objectives
Other Responsibilities:
  • Delivers or participates in non-sourcing category-related initiatives
  • Compiles category-specific RFX templates and playbooks
  • Manages negotiation project risks/issues; proactively updates Strategic Planning leadership of key issues, recognizes and determines the appropriate corrective action to ensure projects remain on schedule

Job Description - Required Education, Qualifications, and Experience*
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Years of Experience: 8-10 years of relevant experience
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
  • Strong strategic sourcing execution experience
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to drive coordination between legal and business stakeholders for contract completion
  • Strong knowledge of agreement and contract templates
  • Experience working independently and in a virtual environment
  • Knowledgeable in VPPA, solar and other real estate related sustainability solutions a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills; Excel & PowerPoint
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams and Project a plus
