Work you'll do

Support for strategic pursuits 
  • Provide sales leadership for strategic pursuits, advising on the development and execution of differentiated sales strategies
  • Be accountable for maintaining cross-border and cross-business relationships with leaders sufficient to understand sales priorities and identify strategic sales opportunities
  • Work directly with leaders and account teams to develop and maintain a pipeline of strategically important deals to be supported by the Sales Office
  • Operate across a diverse geographic, industry, capability, and business stakeholder group to advise on and address challenges and complex matters related to sales strategy including client relationship management, pursuit strategy, deal shaping, and cross-business and cross-border collaboration
Sales Office leadership 
  • As a Director in the Sales Office, provide leadership to build and sustain a diverse, inclusive, and high performance team culture
  • Contribute to setting and executing the vision and strategy for the Sales Office

Who you'll work with:

The Global Risk Advisory Pursuit Team is an elite sales-focused team with one goal: help pursuit teams around the world win the largest and most strategic opportunities in Deloitte’s Risk Advisory portfolio. 

The Pursuit Team is currently searching for a Pursuit Director. Key responsibilities will include working with global leaders to identify and prioritize a pipeline of strategically important deals and engage with geographically-diverse pursuit teams to shape, influence, and win these opportunities.


Desired Level: Director 

Travel: Given the cross-border nature of many of the opportunities the Pursuit Team supports, the role will require international travel to support large complex opportunities
Skills/Experience Required:
  • Proven record in relationship management, account management, marketing, and sales and pursuits within a professional services organization
  • Experience coaching and challenging senior leaders with a track-record of influencing outcomes
  • Strategic, commercially-oriented thinker
  • Strong people management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • A diplomatic approach and genuine enthusiasm to work as part of a team
  • Understanding of business dynamics including brand, business functions, cultural differences, etc.
