Work you'll do

The Global Recruiting Director is responsible for leading all recruiting efforts for Deloitte Global, which is a fast growing innovative firm in the Deloitte network.  The Director will create strong partnerships with business leaders and partner with Workforce Management to craft recruiting solutions across multiple businesses. The ideal candidate has a strategic and operational mindset, and a passion for tackling hiring challenges, sourcing strategies, and operating on a global scale.

  • Provide oversight and connectivity to a virtual, collaborative, high-performing globally distributed team that supports 25+ business units 
  • Lead global strategic recruiting imperatives to include business integrations, transformations, capability planning, workforce planning, and contingent labor 
  • Develop and foster strong relationships with senior leadership of multiple divisions and the People team including Contingent Labor, Workforce Planning, Mobility and Talent Advisory, to fully support, partner, and advise on current and future talent demand solutions across the globe
  • Partner to design and facilitate customized workforce strategies specific to business groups
  • Lead day-to-day operations of the Acquisition team in line with business and organizational goals of the firm 
  • Build and enhance recruiting methodologies and capabilities to ensure the team is continually positioned to deliver against aggressive hiring plans in an ever-changing, high volume, fast-paced environment
  • Implement efficient, scalable recruiting processes with a focus on quality delivery
  • Establish and track metrics to measure capacity and the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruiting process across the full recruitment lifecycle
  • Leverage and develop recruiting reports and dashboards, analyzing and presenting progress to business leaders and stakeholders
  • Lead recruiting technology transformations. Partner with the People HR Technology leader and IT to implement and enhance recruiting information systems (ATS, CRM, and recruiting data systems). Act as customer and business owner for these systems.
  • Design and oversee training and upskilling of recruiting team

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years' recruiting / talent acquisition experience and 5+ years' in a leadership role, preferably in a multi-national or global organization
  • Prior track-record of successfully building, inspiring, and managing a large-scale recruiting function for a high-growth organization
  • Proficiency in Excel, applicant tracking systems, sourcing strategies, social media recruiting, and PowerPoint. Experience with Avature, HireVue and AI technologies is an asset
  • Expert knowledge of full life cycle talent acquisition processes and market best practices with proven methodologies to source passive and active candidates efficiently
  • Experience managing multiple clients in a high volume, fast paced, complex, and customer focused environment and operating as primary point of contact and escalation point for business leaders and project teams
  • Ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously - be able to identify, recommend and drive projects to meet overall strategic goals and objectives of the business
  • Excellent analytic and metric-based skills. Experience and advanced proficiency in analyzing and presenting recruiting metrics to key stakeholders and business leaders
