Job Summary

This position supports the protection of critical assets of the Deloitte firm as part of the global Insider Threat Monitoring program.  The program is designed to protect client and Deloitte data by monitoring suspicious behavior with an initial focus on data exfiltration. This position is responsible for technical design, implementation, maintenance, and support of systems used to investigate Insider Threat risk indicators. 

Illustrative Duties and Responsibilities

1.         Develops, implements, and maintains data integration solutions for the Insider Threat system
2.         Collaborates with Insider Threat analysts, Insider Threat clients, and data source owners to analyze and refine models for detection of data exfiltration activities.
3.         Implements and maintains solutions to monitor the heath and effectiveness of the Insider Threat system
4.         Supports maintenance, configuration, and other operational activities for Insider Threat systems
5.         Collaborates with the Insider Threat team to identify opportunities for continuous program improvement

Who you'll work with:

Global Risk develops programs, processes, and resources to preserve, protect, and enhance the Deloitte brand around the world. We identify new and emerging risks that might impact the network, mitigate threats as they are identified and proactively engage key stakeholders to develop identification and mitigation procedures.

Qualifications:

Required Technical Skills

·       2+ years of experience with SIEM platforms, DLP, CASB, O365 or other related data security tools
·       2-4 years of Experience in scripting, data manipulation and automation using Bash, PowerShell, Python, SQL, and similar languages
·       Strong communication skills and an ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders
·       Experience solving problems and developing solutions in complex environments
·       Knowledge of backend systems including MySQL, SOLR, Hadoop, etc.
·       Experience with Linux and Windows server administration
·       Working knowledge of information security and incident handling
·       Experience with version control systems
·       Background in data science, data privacy, or automation

Education & Experience  

  • Bachelor's degree, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Data science, or related IT discipline or equivalent years of relevant experience
