Work you'll do

Our Audit and Assurance Products and Solutions Product Owner – Quality Assessment Platform (QAP), assists and supports the product strategy and direction, roadmap planning, requirements definition and product roll-out of a platform. The Senior Manager will support the most recent international standard on quality management (ISQM 1). Our Product Owner is responsible for driving quality as part of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). This role will also collaborate with stakeholder groups, ideate on ways to creatively solve problems. You will also work with the existing Product Owners, supporting overall objectives of the Audit & Assurance Products and Solutions team. This role will allow you to gain exposure to other facets of the firm; such as innovation, national office, and technology, providing a vast network of growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Contributes towards defining, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of the Quality Assessment Platform (QAP)
Escalate issues as necessary to project leadership
Represents the “voice of the customer” by investing time with current and potential stakeholders to understand their needs 
Documents, prioritizes and manages requirements of the stakeholders
Liaises between the Technology Controls and product teams to ensure required controls are built into and around the platform
Organizes and participates in testing of any new releases of the platform and summarizes results with insights
Supports the development of the product resources, then guides learning materials and demonstrations that support the platform
Gathers feedback and input from platform users and translates the input to requirements
Creates presentations, communicates ideas and reports statuses to stakeholder, gaining approvals 
Works cross-functionally and across Deloitte's various geographic locations

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree
5 years of Technology consulting or other relevant industry experience
Proven self-starter with the curiosity and desire to dig into, and understand details
Possesses strong written and verbal communications skills to effectively and thoughtfully communicate to a wide range of stakeholders
Ability to proactively anticipate problems, identify opportunities, alternate approaches, and creative solutions
Facilitates and participates in discussions that discover solutions, capturing and transforming business and technology requirements into high-quality User Stories and Acceptance criteria
Demonstrates the ability to learn Audit Methodology, understand all elements and use as needed
Demonstrates the ability to effectively manage time and work on multiple projects
Experienced working in an Agile environment
