Work you'll do

Support the implementation and engagement of the Learning Strategy through design and creativity to create an unrivalled talent experience for all Audit & Assurance employees. Designs and executes PowerPoint presentations, videos, illustrations, layouts, templates etc. that can be used to enhance learning solutions to deliver more compelling, intuitive, and easy to understand experiences for the learner. Engages with learner experience team and learning development team members to understand learning projects and tools and conceptualize graphic solutions to support an effective learning experience. Draws on established and novel visual design practices from related fields (e.g., 3D design, animation, web design) to set visual design standards and build new visual experiences. Supports and consults with the team to identify the best medium for delivery (e.g. PowerPoint, video, interactive pdf etc.), given graphic design possibilities and constraints. Designs visually appealing videos, illustrations, layouts, and other visual aspect in accordance with Deloitte brand requirements, for use in stakeholder presentations. Provides input for branding and communications to improve design and impact of communications, presentations, websites, and enhance stakeholder engagement. Creates templates and produces designs in alignment with DTTL branding and communication standards for use across the GAAL team both for communication and learning projects (e.g. PowerPoint or Storyline templates). Reviews materials to ensure graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand. Provides input on the strategic vision for Learning Design and Innovation and plans work aligned to this vision. Coordinates to understand and translate needs across teams in GAAL, bringing best practices, standardization, and upskilling for presentation development, graphic design, digital asset development, animation creation etc. to team members. Owns their own professional development and contributing to the development of their other team members. Fosters a culture of innovation and excellence, overseeing team development and recognizing and rewarding fellow team members. Where appropriate, coaches and mentors team members through established development mechanisms and check-ins.

Qualifications

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Design, Fine Arts, Linguistics or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Graphic Designer; Digital Designer; or Design Manager-related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following:

  1. Perform conceptualization of visuals and graphics based on learning requirements.
  2. Design creative, engaging visuals using design software across a mix of modalities including digital learning modules, PowerPoint presentations, video content, and websites.
  3. Present ideas and amend designs based on feedback.
  4. Partner with senior stakeholders and work across all levels.
  5. Utilize graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Animate and Photoshop).
  6. Utilize Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint.
  7. Manage competing, high-priority demands including prioritizing workload, managing projects and multiple responsibilities against strict deadlines.

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top end of the range, but such a decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is [$133,120 - $139,776 / year] for individuals applying to work in this location. 

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
