Work you'll do

The chosen candidate will be expected to:

  • Work across key teams to coordinate and support the delivery of signature brand investments – partnership activation and events – to drive Deloitte’s external positioning in the marketplace and further Deloitte’s Purpose agenda.

1) International Olympic Committee & International Paralympic Committee – support the development and implementation of new purpose activation programs as part of the Olympic Agenda 2020+5 and Deloitte’s WorldImpact commitments

2) COP27 – management of Deloitte’s delegation, coordination of in person and virtual brand activation and positioning of Deloitte’s sustainability and climate agenda and client service offering

3) Global events – strategically utilising events (e.g., World Mental Health Day, Davos etc) as platforms to connect existing or new investments to extend Deloitte’s brand positioning and drive authentic engagement with internal and external audiences

4) Future investments – assessing and evaluating new investments to determine how they can support and amplify Deloitte’s brand positioning and WorldImpact commitments

  • Lead the development of executive summaries that outline key engagement, highlight impact and inform future activations and renewal discussions
  • Lead collaborative efforts between Global Brand, Global Comms and Global Talent to make connections and create synergies amongst investments supporting signature themes / executive priorities and support driving consistent brand expressions and a progressive narrative on the issues that matter

Building the world’s leading professional services brand aligns with Deloitte Global’s strategic priorities and the Global Brand team focuses on creating the strategies and tools that drive brand distinction, promote the brand globally, deliver partnership investments that drive connection, and infuse the brand with purpose to inspire our people and our clients to make an impact that matters.

As part of Global Brand & Marketing, the Brand Strategy & Purpose team sets out to increase our global brand strength by establishing the brand strategies, programs and partnerships that advance our positioning and influence externally and deliver our Purpose and WorldImpact commitments. Within this team, the Partnerships & Engagement team establishes and develops partnerships and events to articulate, elevate and amplify our brand and build our reputation in the marketplace; drive authentic connections with our stakeholders – clients, talent, society; and support commercial activity with our most strategic clients.


Technical Skills:

  • Strong project management, time management, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strategic and critical thinking capability – with a view to being able to connect the dots, spot and shape opportunities and think ahead
  • Strategic communicator (written and verbal) internally and externally to garner buy in internally and externally for Deloitte’s position
  • Strong relationship management – ability to build strong working relationships across a wide range of internal (global and member firm teams and senior leaders) and external stakeholders and represent the team in interactions
  • Experience in marketing management including developing strategies, plans, presentations, etc
  • Experience in providing strategic direction and structure to creative agencies and teams
  • Research and analytical skills – confidence in providing insights and recommendations
  • External perspective – scanning the external environment for news, trends, opportunities, and risks to maintain an ongoing understanding of Deloitte’s marketplace positioning to inform decision making
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills – particularly on PowerPoint, Excel – with the ability to create high quality and impactful deliverables

  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and accountability, resourcefulness, tenacious follow-through, detail-oriented and creative problem-solver

  • Experience working with senior leadership (internal and external) across global territories
  • Experience working with diverse and cross-cultural teams; strong appreciation for cultural differences and ability to adapt approaches as required
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with confident presentation skills
  • Proven ability to work and maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-volume, and often deadline driven environment, with a practical and pragmatic approach to delivery
  • Strong relationship building/relationship management skill and ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and diverse groups
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with Deloitte Global professionals and member firm teams across the organization
  • Team-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Self-starter who can work in a virtual environment

Education (degree): BA or BS          

Other (Explain): Relevant professional services training and development

Years of Experience: 4 or more years of progressively advanced experience in relationship building, program/project delivery, operations and brand positioning, marketing or partnership/sponsorship delivery.
