Work you'll do
- Support various Contingent Labor category programs: traditional temporary labor (via 3rd party vendors), self/direct-sourced talent (independent contractors and freelancers) and managed service labor (SOW).
- Establish collaborative relationships with stakeholders; develop in-depth understanding of strategic business initiatives across programs, suppliers and spend categories.
- Conduct supplier due diligence, to include evaluating core competencies and competitiveness using industry tools and benchmarking analysis; leveraging key-insights to inform and support category strategy development process.
- Monitor Contingent Labor market conditions, technology trends and identify challenges & opportunities.
- Provide SME guidance to stakeholders on Contingent Labor strategy and best practices while upholding procurement policies.
- Work with stakeholders to identify and deliver savings, program optimization and process improvements.
- Participate in business reviews with stakeholders to discuss vendor performance, program direction, and growth opportunities.
- Manage full contract lifecycle including negotiations, implementation of rate cards, amendments, and extensions.
- Participate in the sourcing process including RFx, contract/rate analysis, bid evaluation, negotiations, and supplier consolidation.
- Conduct program audits based on stakeholder and procurement requirements.
- Support DEI and Sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure timely reporting and system updates.

Qualifications:
- Expert understanding of, and deep experience with various Contingent Labor category programs (3+ years’ experience).
- Familiarity working with Legal to assess risk and concisely convey results to stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, including meeting stakeholder deadlines, and coordinating with various levels of colleagues to successfully meet goals.
- Ability to manage various simultaneous projects requiring tremendous time management, organization, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with strategic, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of US Employment and Tax laws.
- Exceptional customer relations skills with ability to understand stakeholder needs.
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of leadership.
- Prior use of a Contingent Labor VMS tool (preferably Fieldglass).
- Knowledge of Contingent Labor agreements and the purpose of key legal terms.
- Establishing and executing successful negotiation strategies.
- Knowledge of Contingent Labor trends, industry experts and best practices.
- Conducting Contingent Labor related RFx.
- Past participation in developing sourcing and negotiation strategies that deliver against stakeholder objectives while sustaining supplier relationships.
- Understanding and application of global Employment and Tax laws.
- Supporting internal and client facing stakeholders.
- Experience working in a global, matrixed corporation, with multiple lines of business.
- Experience with Local, State and Federal Government programs.
- Experience with DEI and Sustainability initiatives.
