Work you'll do
- Serving as a trusted advisor to the Cyber Defense Leadership Team to help them understand the IT financial drivers and make recommendations to leaders on how to develop and then manage their budget and forecast
- Make recommendations for potential efficiencies in technology spend so the firm can increase new investments in support of our technology driven future
- Provides strategic and consultative services to Cyber Defense leadersas a trusted advisor and subject matter expert by providing objective, practical and relevant ideas, insights, and advice to leadership
- Enable the team to identify ways to ensure consistency, efficiency and transparency in the financial and operational metrics that are used to understand the value that technology brings to the business
- Lead projects and efforts of others that result in the improvement of our IT Financial Management maturity level to increase the value and depth of information available for IT leadership decisions
- Provide in depth analysis on metrics that matter for projects, resources, financials, and programs.
- Manage ad hoc requests/questions from Deloitte Global and member firm leadership.

Qualifications:
- High level of accounting and financial process skills
- Proven experience building effective working relationships with high-level internal stakeholders across multiple businesses, geographies, and cultures
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to interact and influence all levels within the firm, particularly leadership
- Ability to work independently under pressure with competing priorities while consistently producing best-in-class deliverables
- Experience navigating a global, matrixed, and virtual work environment
- Strategic and creative team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done
- Expert skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, SAP financials and other financial reporting tools
- Excellent problem solving, research, and analytical skills
- Strong operational and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Business, Finance or Accounting
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience with hardware and/or software asset management
- Experience with IT Financial management methodologies and disciplines
- Experience developing and implementing new services and methods to support customer needs
