Work you'll do
Deloitte Global Risk & Brand Protection is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to join the Global Risk Management – MF Network Risks and Brand Events function. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted professional — blending strategic risk acumen with hands-on execution, cross-functional collaboration and heightened focus on delivering results in complex, fast-moving environments.
As a versatile team player and experienced risk professional, you will work alongside the Global Chief Risk Officer (CRO) teams, Global Businesses Risk teams, Deloitte Member Firm Risk teams, and senior leaders across the Deloitte network to protect and preserve the network's brand and reputation. You will be expected to lead with expertise, adapt fluidly to evolving priorities, and bringing solutions-oriented mindset to every challenge while helping develop, implement and enhance innovative risk management processes and their related assessments as well as help coordinate, facilitate, provide oversight and monitoring of significant matters that could have the potential to negatively impact the Deloitte brand.
Specific responsibilities of the role will include:
- Serve as a key liaison between Member Firm Risk teams and Global Risk and Brand Protection, ensuring high-risk and sensitive matters are escalated timely and monitored for significant developments that may require the attention of senior Global leadership
- Develop and manage reporting mechanisms that translate complex risk data and information into clear, concise, and actionable insights for senior leadership and the Global CRO
- Manage the coordination of global communications for significant brand events working closely with Global Communications, Global OGC, relevant Global Business Risk leader and MF Risk teams
- Lead and oversee the enhancement, and maintenance of risk resilience frameworks, playbooks, and other relevant materials to enable proactive and agile management of significant brand impacting events
- Design and deliver targeted brand events training for relevant Global and MF Leaders to equip them with relevant knowledge about the Global response processes to manage significant brand impacting events
- Manage the Alternative Communications Channels process including onboarding, validation and testing of the Alternative Communications Channels
- Perform risk related consultations with Global and MF leaders/teams
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels, fostering a culture of shared risk ownership, transparency, and accountability across the Deloitte network
- Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing expertise and fostering professional development within the Global Risk function
- Performing other duties as assigned
The team
Global Risk & Brand Protection protects, preserves and enhances the Deloitte brand. We navigate the dynamic risk landscape across the areas of risk management, confidentiality & privacy, cyber security oversight, regulatory, independence & conflicts, and Anti-Corruption/financial crimes. We foster trusting relationships across the Deloitte network through collaboration, facilitation and responsive guidance.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Knowledge of Business and Artificial Intelligence Tools (Power Bi, Tableau, CoPilot)
- Ability to frame, evaluate and address complex issues quickly
- Easily adaptable to change and capable change direction in short amount of time
- Ability to deliver under pressure and provide informed responses in short time frames
- Ability to handle sensitive leadership information with utmost confidentiality
- Flexibility to support cross-regional stakeholders and work outside local time zones as business needs require
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance or another business-related field. Specialization in Risk Management degree a plus
- Minimum of 7 years of working experience in risk management, operational risk, brand risk, or a closely related discipline — ideally within a large professional services, financial services, or multinational corporation
