Work you'll do

 

Professional Services is a key leader in CoRe Global Procurement’s Professional Services Category Team, managing the execution of the entire life cycle of professional services procurement and engagement with member firms and global businesses. This leader will manage relationships and lead team members procuring complex, high-value, and business-critical engagements between Deloitte Global and Member Firms.

 

Professional Services Category Management Team:

  • Oversee strategy, contracting, and relationship management for complex or high-value professional services procurements
  • Provide guidance and decision support to business leaders on provider selection, engagement models, and sourcing approach
  • Act as key advisor to stakeholders (OGC, Finance, Workforce Planning, and others) for high-impact sourcing and contracting matters
  • Manages intake, workflow, and approvals for sourcing requests
  • Handles escalations and exceptions
  • Maintains reporting, data integrity, and provider scorecards
  • Supports ongoing process improvement and stakeholder needs
  • Advises on vendor sourcing strategy and engagement models
  • Review and quality-check SOWs and PSAs for compliance, accuracy, and business alignment
  • Triage and address margin, scope, or process exceptions that require senior intervention
  • Ensure critical sourcing activities, exceptions, and outcomes are tracked in core systems
  • Support the generation of dashboards, reports, and category insights for leadership
  • Mentor and develop team members; contribute to onboarding and capability-building initiatives

Global CoRe provides seven fundamental services to Deloitte around the world: knowledge services, creative services, contact center, data management assessment services, data protection, procurement, and real estate. We develop new and innovative ways to improve how these services are delivered across the organization, leveraging our global scope and strength to serve our organization within and across borders.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant Procurement experience
  • Deep understanding of professional services category, ideally with a ‘Big 4’ firm
  • Strong knowledge of standard category management processes
  • Ability to engage with senior executives to influence decisions
  • Experience in managing matrixed teams
  • Relationship building, influencing, and collaboration skills with persuasive and convincing communication skills (e.g., proposals, reports, plans) to secure commitment from business leaders
  • Strong understanding of common sourcing templates, tools, and methodologies
  • Deep knowledge of the Master Category Strategy approach
