Work you'll do
Lead the team responsible for deploying and maintaining cloud computing technologies, infrastructure, and applications to meet the organization's requirements. Lead the documentation and administration of the design of cloud resource Enterprise Systems Infrastructure to meet business requirements for reliability and business recovery. Integrate new solutions with existing cloud resources and evaluate impacts. Develop and share standards and best practices for the cloud environment. Lead the documentation and maintenance of cloud security controls, including system access and compliance needs. Monitor availability and performance issues with cloud provider’s services and updates leadership accordingly. Regularly assess and diffuse complex, and escalated client issues. Solve systemic client service problems. Explore alternative and creative solutions to meeting the needs of the client according to policies and guidelines. Recommend new solutions to problems, to improve existing methods/procedures/services and generate new ideas.

Qualifications
Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in a Lead Cloud Engineer-related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a Lead Cloud Engineer-related occupation.
Position requires 2 years of experience in the following:
1. Performing and architecting daily system monitoring.
2. Verifying integrity and availability of servers & applications.
3. Performing software upgrades & conducting testing to verify functionality.
4. Providing incident and problem responses for issues related to application availability, performance and functionality.
5. Assessing hardware capacity and planning for optimizations while controlling cost incurred.
6. Troubleshooting firewall and network connectivity with vendors to maintain database connectivity for critical applications.
7. Setting up automations to deploy infrastructure and code.
8. Collaborating with developers and project managers.
