Work you'll do
The Security Inquiry Response Center (SIRC) is Deloitte's global central service providing accurate and up-to-date cybersecurity information to meet the demands of Deloitte's clients.
The Service Owner is accountable for the overall delivery, strategic direction, and continuous evolution of the SIRC service. This role leads global SIRC operations, ensures high‑quality and timely delivery of services and projects, and drives strategic initiatives to support growth, scalability, technology enablement, and operational excellence. The leader partners closely with Global Deloitte Technology (DT) and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) leadership to align priorities, outcomes, and success measures, while developing and coaching SIRC managers to build a high‑performing, sustainable team. Key responsibilities include:
Service Delivery & Accountability
- Responsible and accountable for the end‑to‑end delivery of SIRC services and projects, ensuring commitments related to quality, timeliness, and stakeholder expectations are consistently met.
- Oversees operational performance, identifies risks and escalations, and ensures appropriate mitigation actions are in place.
- Ensures SIRC operates in alignment with agreed service scope, standards, and governance expectations.
Strategy, Growth & Transformation
- Defines and drives the overall SIRC strategy, including service growth, expansion, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leads the evolution of SIRC capabilities through process optimization, technology enablement, and resource planning to support increasing demand and complexity.
- Identifies opportunities to enhance scalability, efficiency, sustainability of the SIRC operating model and potential extension of service scope.
Technology & Resource Enablement
- Provides strategic oversight of SIRC technology initiatives, tools, and platforms to improve service delivery and user experience.
- Ensures appropriate resourcing models are in place, balancing demand, capacity, and skill requirements across the SIRC organization.
- Partners with technology and delivery teams to prioritize and deliver enhancements that support long‑term service objectives.
Stakeholder Alignment & Collaboration
- Sets and aligns goals with Global DT and GRC leadership to collectively achieve shared outcomes and organizational success.
- Acts as a senior point of engagement for key stakeholders, ensuring transparency, alignment, and effective communication.
- Represents SIRC in leadership forums, providing insight into performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.
People Leadership & Development
- Develops, coaches, and mentors SIRC managers, fostering strong leadership capability and succession readiness.
- Builds a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the SIRC leadership team.
- Supports talent development, performance management, and engagement to maintain a high‑performing and resilient organization.
- Consistent, high‑quality delivery of SIRC services and projects
- Effective execution of SIRC strategic initiatives and growth objectives
- Strong alignment and partnership with Global DT and GRC leadership
- Development of a capable, engaged, and high‑performing SIRC management team

Qualifications
Do you possess the following?:
- Proven experience leading an enterprise‑scale services or shared service functions focussed on Global value in a multi-cultural and multilingual environment.
- Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities
- Experience driving operational excellence, service transformation, and technology‑enabled improvements
- Ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across technology, risk, and compliance functions.
- Good understanding of Generative Ai capabilities and offering, for personal efficiency and for AI integration in applications.
- Demonstrated people leadership, coaching, and talent development skills

Deloitte Global is required by local law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role for individuals applying to work in our Toronto, Halifax and St John locations. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top end of the range, but such a decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is - for individuals applying to work in these locations.
