Work you'll do
We’re looking for an experienced communications leader to build and deliver internal and external communications for Deloitte Technology and the CIO. You’ll set strategy, run integrated campaigns across channels, shape executive messaging, measure impact, and lead a small communications team to amplify our technology story across employees, clients, and the market.
Key responsibilities
- Strategy & Vision: Create and own the communications strategy and roadmap for Deloitte Technology and the CIO, aligning messaging to business priorities and enterprise strategy.
- Editorial Planning: Drive content calendars and topic planning for intranet, events, executive updates, media outreach, and external channels.
- Executive Communications: Draft, review and refine CIO and senior-leader communications (presentations, emails, speeches, talking points) to ensure clarity, alignment and business impact.
- Channel & Platform Management: Lead strategy and execution across channels (newsletters, Viva Engage, podcasts, fireside chats, website, social channels), including budget oversight and platform selection.
- Digital Presence & Eminence: Define and manage the external online presence for Deloitte Technology and the CIO—website content, social strategy, and commercial channels to grow visibility and credibility.
- Measurement & Optimization: Design and run regular measurement programs to evaluate the effectiveness of communications activities and adjust tactics based on results.
- Event Communications: Lead communications planning for major DT events (e.g., All Hands), ensuring consistent messaging and strong audience engagement.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Work with People/HR, DTTL communications, and Service Areas to integrate content and align messages across the firm.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor communications team members; oversee delivery quality, professional development, and performance.

Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office required
- May require intermediate proficiency in C++ and HTML skills
- Proven experience leading communications strategy for a large technology or enterprise organization.
- Strong executive communications skills—writing, editing, and storytelling for senior leaders.
- Experience with integrated channel strategies (internal and external) and modern platforms.
- Comfort with measurement frameworks and using data to improve outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to work across global teams.
