Work you'll do

 

The Deloitte Global Anti-Corruption and Financial Crime Compliance team, which is part of Deloitte Global Risk and Brand Protection, focuses on supporting the Deloitte network in implementing and maintaining holistic and robust Anti-Corruption and Financial Crime Compliance programs that are designed to comply with relevant laws and regulations and monitoring Deloitte firms’ compliance with global policies.

The Global Anti-Corruption and Financial Crimes Compliance Senior Consultant will report to the Anti-Corruption Lead.

 

  • Support the annual assessment and periodic review of Deloitte firm's anti-corruption, AML and trade controls (sanctions and export controls) compliance programs
  • Support in the development of guidance and toolkits related to Anti-Corruption for Deloitte firms
  • Assist with the project management of various Global Anti-Corruption and Financial Crime Compliance tasks and key initiatives
  • Research Anti-Corruption news and reports to identify trends and regulatory developments around the world
  • Develop presentations and communications for various stakeholders
  • Manage the Global Anti-Corruption and Financial Crime compliance SharePoint site
  • Be an effective team player and colleague and work together effectively with other DTTL subject matter experts, enabling areas and key stakeholders
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

We navigate the dynamic risk landscape across the areas of risk management, confidentiality & privacy, cyber security oversight, regulatory, independence & conflicts, and Anti-Corruption/financial crimes. We foster trusting relationships across the Deloitte network through collaboration, facilitation and responsive guidance.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Understanding of Anti-Corruption compliance program requirements, core elements and control environment in a global setting
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management, organization, prioritization and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a virtual and cross border environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Data analysis/analytics experience
  • Advanced capability with Microsoft Office suite, specifically with Excel and PowerPoint
  • High degree of confidentiality, professionalism and self-motivation, ability to work independently and can work well under pressure
  • Ability to be self-directed and responsive

 

Desirable

  • Experience with Anti-Corruption compliance programs is a significant advantage. In addition, audit, compliance, or risk management experience is a plus
  • Experience working for a professional services organization providing one or more of the following: anti-corruption, financial crime, regulatory and compliance and other related services to clients.
  • Gap assessment experience and experience in monitoring entities’ compliance with policies and requirements.
