Position Summary

The Vendor Services Financial Manager is responsible for managing financial operations related to third-party vendors and ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of vendor invoices. This role oversees cost allocation and chargebacks to Member Firms, contributes towards managing the Vendor Services portfolio P&L, and partners with the Vendor Management Office, Procurement and Global Finance on major contracts and recovery schedules. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial controls, analytical skills, and collaboration capabilities to drive efficiency and accuracy in vendor financial operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage invoice payments to third-party technology vendors, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
  • Post invoices to tracker files and ensure proper internal coding.
  • Ensure taxes are reflected correctly and consult with the Tax team as necessary.
  • Coordinate with the Vendor Management Office to align on vendor payment schedules and cost allocations.
  • Partner with the Global Finance team to charge back member firms according to approved allocation methodologies.
  • Monitor vendor-related expenses and ensure proper financial reporting and documentation.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and respond to vendor and internal stakeholder inquiries.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities related to vendor services.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and efficiency in vendor financial operations.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management, accounts payable, or vendor finance.
  • Strong understanding of invoice processing, cost allocation, and chargeback mechanisms.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including vendor management, finance and accounting.
  • Proficiency with financial systems and Microsoft Excel; ERP experience is an asset.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a global or multi-entity organization.
  • Familiarity with vendor contracts and service-level agreements.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
